Our History
Founded in 1999, Tchin-Lait was born from the bold vision of creating an Algerian company capable of distributing internationally quality dairy products on the national market.
Over the decades, we have developed strategic partnerships with the world's leading brands such as Candia, while creating our own ranges like Twist, Candy, Lia, Ramdy, Tchin Cheese, Gyzmo, Limone, Le Maître and Tchin-Agro, perfectly suited to local tastes and needs.
Today, Tchin-Lait is ISO 22000:2018 certified, guaranteeing the highest standards of food safety and quality. We employ more than 500 passionate people and distribute our products throughout Algeria, reaching millions of households every day.

Training
All managers and supervisors receive specialised on-site training and one or more placements at Candia plants in France: milk technology, manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance and quality analysis. Tchin-Lait's primary source of skilled labour is the Algerian university system.
Distribution
The group's products are sold throughout the country. Distribution is built on a network of approved depositaries covering the whole territory, and a sales force of more than 80 people — area managers, supervisors, promoters and merchandisers — responsible for supporting and promoting direct distribution to retailers.
