The ISO 22000 standard
Consumers today look for quality food that is healthy, balanced and respectful of their wellbeing. Mastering food safety has become an essential concern for food industry professionals. The ISO 22000 standard answers that need: it identifies an organisation's hazards and points of vulnerability regarding hygiene and safety, and manages those risks effectively.
A twofold requirement
- Improving safety across every actor in the food chain.
- Harmonising existing food safety methods through an internationally recognised framework.
Its aim is to give food industry actors an effective management tool for controlling the risks inherent in food safety. Like other quality management standards, it allows a company to have the conformity of its policy and procedures with food hygiene and safety requirements formally attested.
Our certification
